What is the closest major airport to Bristol Tennessee? I would like to go to the race next March and will be flying, most likely, through Houston (IAH).

does anyone know where can get airplane tickets really cheap? i am going to be flying from the tri cities airport in bristol tennessee to tampa, florida and i need really cheap tickets...i would like it if i could get one for $100 one way...so $200 round trip. i know this is possible cause some of my family flew for that cheap...i just dont know how to get them...can anyone help!?!?!

Should I rent a car or drive my own car on a 6 hour trip? I have a trip I need to take this coming weekend. I will be traveling approximately 300 miles from Atlanta, ga to Bristol, TN. I don't want to add wear and tear to my own car even though the roundtrip gas price would probably be about $30. I can rent a car for $25 a day. What would be the best thing to do. Would a trip like this really wear my tires that much or should I go with the rental? Flying is out of the question because it's really expensive to fly into the Tennessee tri-cities airport and the closest one is Nashville but no shuttles or cabs will travel all the way over to the East side of the state from there.
