What's the difference between University of Bristol and the University of West England Bristol? This year I will start my degree in the U.K and some people suggested me to apply to Bristol as appears to be a nice city for students. When I was applying through UCAS I selected UWE( university of west of England) and apparently it is totally different from the University of Bristol. I would prefer University of Bristol because is one of the best universities in the universities' ranking of the United Kingdom, EWU seems to have a lower level. EWU has offer me a place in the degree I wish to do. What should I do?

Why is Bristol West Insurance so Horrible?? Help!? OK I was in an accident with a driver that was insured with Bristol West (she ran a red light but wont admit it). I have called them to make a claim every single day(3-5 per day) for 3 weeks now! I have left dozens of messages & I havent gotten a single call back from the adjuster or anyone! My boyfriend would like to change his career to become a lorry driver but we cant afford the training costs which are around £1000 - £2000. We are aware that some large companies and supermarkets will pay for your license but you must work for them for a fixed time period of 2yrs up which he doesn't mind as we know that in a few years he can always go somewhere else if he doesn't like it. Does anyone know of any haulage companies/supermarkets etc around Bristol or the South West who will pay for your training? We have tried to look on google but can't find anything, mainly because we need to type in a specific company to begin with but we dont know which ones do it, so obviously we have got nowhere so far lol!! Rehoming Bantam Chickens in Bristol/South West? Hi, I have 3 unusual Small Chickens, including one Japanese Bantam. My shifts/ work has changed and I no longer have the time to spend or give them the attention they need. They are very bright and friendly beautiful birds and I feel so bad that they have no one around during the day to pet them and keep them occupied. Because they are very small and fly fairly easily they are kept in a large pen, so cats etc cant get to them. I give them corn on the cob, grapes, lettuce and maggots daily before work, but by the time i get back the chickens are just stood in the same corner looking bored and sad as if they need something more than I can give them, and I guess that's attention :( I really want to find them a new home, but ideally at a city children's farm or a larger public animal centre where they can have attention/space etc. The main problem is that they will need to be in a very large dry roofed run outside or inside in a walk through barn type thing where they cant fly out. They have feathery feet and if they are left on a muddy ground too long it ruins these beautiful feathers and will make there feet sore. My heart sinks each time I get home and see them pacing the run up and down or huddled in the corner. I just cant give them the love and attention they deserve. Im just wondering if anyone knows of a children's city farm/larger animal organization that could offer them a loving home in and around the Bristol/south west area? I have thought about trade it etc but im really not keen as I wont really know if they are going to a better home and the persons reason for wanting them and I want them to stay together. Help! :(

Is the University of West England in Bristol a good place to study abroad?

Auto Insurance. I filed a claim with Bristol West.? How long does it take to for them to respond and fix my car. I have a lowered Honda Civic, the whole front end and bumper got ripped off because I had pulled up to far in my parking stall at my apartment complex. It screwed the whole front end up, jacked up a tail light, but the car is still drivable. There were no other vehicles involved., no injuries, no property dmage other then mty vehicle. Does this sound like it can be covered. I have had a dispute with my apartment complex over why I did not want a concrete bumper on in my parking stall, plus my parking stall is on a steep incline, making it so that I have to pull up alot so my car is not half in and half out of the stall. I feel that this is the property management's fault because it is the second time that damage has been done to my car by this. I had to park my car nearly 100 feet away from my stall in guest parking for the longest time because of it.

Anyone went to St Columbas in the 70's ? I went there until 1980. Its on Bristol Road in West Heath.? I went to school there in the 70's and those are my fondest memories. I was really surprised to see a yellow wagtail perched on the top of a building in the centre of our town in the South west of England on Saturday.
